1. Who is responsible for your data?

BrN Vastgoed is the controller for the personal data processed through this website and in the course of our services.

2. What data do we process?

We process only data you provide to us yourself or that is necessary to carry out our instruction:

• Contact details: name, company name, email address and telephone number.
• Property details: address of the premises, land registry data, lease and title information.
• Correspondence: the information you give with a request and any subsequent email exchange.
• Technical data: IP address and browser details, solely for security and fault-finding.

3. What do we use your data for?

We use your data to answer your enquiry, carry out a valuation or advisory instruction, keep you informed of progress and comply with our statutory record-keeping and retention obligations.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send commercial newsletters without your consent.

4. On what legal basis?

Processing rests on one of the following grounds under the GDPR: your consent (when you complete the request form), performance of a contract with you, a legal obligation (such as the statutory retention period) or our legitimate interest in providing a careful service.

5. Sharing with others

We never sell your data. We share it only where necessary for the instruction or required by law — for example with an appraiser, notary, lender, adviser or survey firm — and only after consulting you.

We have concluded data processing agreements with parties that process data on our behalf, such as our email and form provider and our hosting company. Data is stored within the EEA unless otherwise agreed with you.

6. How long do we keep data?

Enquiries that do not lead to an instruction are kept for a maximum of twelve months. Files for completed instructions are kept for seven years in line with the statutory retention period. After that we delete the data or render it anonymous.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections, access restricted to the staff involved and secure storage of files. Do you suspect misuse or a data breach? Report it immediately to info@brnvastgoed.nl or call 06-42302885.

8. Cookies

This website places only functional cookies necessary for the site to work. We use no tracking or advertising cookies and place no analytics cookies without your consent.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data. You may also restrict processing, object to it or have your data transferred. Consent once given can always be withdrawn.
